North India has an amazingly varied topography. In the far north, the Himalayan mountains, snow covered sentinels, separate India from the rest of Asia. Nestling in their lower ranges are the Picturesque hills and valleys of Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttranchal, Punjab/Haryana.
