First quarter 2014 (1Q14)
The Group recorded revenue of RM1302.4 million for the quarter ended 31 March 2014, 0.1% higher than the revenue of RM1300.8 million recorded in the quarter ended 31 March 2013. The revenue growth was supported by a 4% growth in passenger volume while the average fare was down 9% at RM164 as compared to RM180.achieved in first quarter of 2013. Ancillary income per passenger was increased by 7% to RM46. The seat load factor was at 81% 2 percentage point higher than the same period last year. The profit before tax for the period was RM133.8 million compared to RM131.8 million in the same quarter of 2013 while the profit after tax for the period was RM139.7 million compared to RM104.8 million in the same quarter of 2013. The Group’s cash from operations was RM78.8 million, compared to RM240.3 million in the immediate preceding quarter ended 31 December 2013. Net cash flow in the quarter amounted to a RM84.7 million outflow, as cash out flows from investing activities exceeded operating and financing cash inflows.

Second quarter 2014 (2Q14)
The Group recorded revenue of RM1310.9 million for the quarter ended 30 June 2014, 5% higher than the revenue of RM1246.3 million recorded in the quarter ended 30 June 2013. The revenue growth was supported by a 1% growth in passenger volume while the average fare was down 1% at RM157 as compared to RM159 achieved in second quarter of 2013. Ancillary income per passenger was increased by 13% to RM45 year-on-year. The seat load factor was at 80% which is consistent with the same period last year. The profit before tax for the period was RM255.3 million compared to RM112.6 million in the same quarter of 2013 while the profit after tax for the period was RM367.2 million compared to RM58.3 million in the same quarter of 2013.
