IMTIAZ SUPER MARKET, a renowned super market, was formed in the 1955's as a small grocer's outlet in Bahadurabad by Mr.Hakim Khan Abbasi, father of Mr. Imtiaz Hussain Abbasi .Imtiaz II came into being in 2003 located in Main Shahrah-e-Faisal. The outlet trusted for providing its customers with “Safe, Healthy and Qualitative product and services” has been functioning for approximately 55 years and during these 55 years given it’s widely applauded efforts to uphold quality, quantity and content it has rapidly introduced new product items. Their devotion, determination, dedication and diligence made it possible to win the hearts and minds of people who would visit their super market in its early days. Their elders set a new standard in offering large variety of products in a unique manner. The purpose of this term report is to “MAKE A MARKET PLAN FOR A NEW PRODUCT LINE AT IMTIAZ STORE” We are designing a marketing plan for existing retail store with new product line.Our project existing retail store is “IMTIAZ SUPER MARKET” Karachi Pakistan & new product line is ladies clothing category or area at their own store with name POONAM FABRICS under which we are introducing already existing brands such SANA&SAMIA’S, LALA CLASSIC, NAYAB, MISRI, RAHAT,LAKHANI SILK MILLS(LSM), GUL-AHMED, FIRDOUS and OTHERS.
Now more than ever, we're also known for our rice and in house blend of spices. Our plan is to grow Imtiaz Super Market into a world-class retailer that's customer-focused, fast-moving and flexible. We work hard to ensure we offer only the highest quality products, service and shopping environments in all of our stores. We will focus on five key growth areas:
1. Continue to invest in and grow our core Pakistan retail business, by introducing new goods and services. 2. Strengthen our Pakistan property portfolio.
3. Drive our Imtiaz Super Market Direct business.
4. Expand our business nationwide.
5. Integrate our Plans into every aspect of how we do business, so that we grow in a sustainable way. Our brand values - quality, value, service, innovation and trust - are more important than ever. Imtiaz Super Market has a setup having high standard shelving, eye catching display and sophisticated shopping environment and maintains high standards.
CURRENT MARKETING SITUATION
Organizations survive on the basis of meeting the needs, wants and providing benefits for their customers. Failure to do so will result in a failed business strategy. Imtiaz provides their customers products at affordable prices. They value the demands and imagination of their customers. Providing satisfaction to their customers is the main core value of Imtiaz. Inorder to understand that what actually customers think about Imtiaz we interviewed many of the customers at Imtiaz Store. They praised the fact that Imtiaz Store provides free home delivery even at late hours of the night and if any product is not available at the store, they purchase it from elsewhere and deliver it to their houses. EMPLOYEES
Employing the correct staff and keeping these staff motivated is an essential part of the strategic planning process of an organization. Training and development plays an essential role particular in service sector marketing in-order to gain a competitive edge. At Imtiaz Store, the minimum qualification of the employees is matriculation. Their dress code is blue shalwar kameez and they speak local languages. Most of the salesmen are engaged in work in the sections of basic commodities. As far as density is concerned, they have 4- 5 employees working in each aisle. Imtiaz provides the best combination of compensation, job security, flexibility and support to their employees. Also they guide them whenever it would be needed for their employees in their jobs.
