* What are the reasons for tardiness/ lateness of employees in an organization?
An employee is a person who works and manages working for a company. These people are the staff of the organization. They are the most important resource available to a business organization as it depends on employees to keep their business running smoothly; when they fail to show up on time that means lost money, lost time and lower overall morale. From time-to-time almost every employee will have a legitimate reason for arriving late to work, but for every genuine explanation there are far more uncertain ones, provided by many employees who have a catalogue of creative reasons to support their tardiness. Employee excuses for being late for work ranged from the expected - to the unexpected. These were the most common excuses offered about why employees were late for work. * Delayed by traffic.

* Late to work because of lack of sleep.
* Bad weather.
* Delay in getting kids to day care or school
