Spring 2013 Illegal immigrants should be allowed into the United States. An illegal immigrant is any individual who enters America illegally, or one who enters legally, yet stays past their time allowed. I believe illegal immigrants are essential to the American economy, because they contribute more to the economy than they actually receive in benefits. As well as some current immigration policies are discriminatory. There are many arguments that support allowing illegal immigrants to America and the following is one of them. Illegal immigrants have a positive effect on America’s economy. It has been proven in history that prosperity follows immigration. In fact, economists point out the economic boom in the 1950s and 60s was driven by these so-called aliens. Illegal workers provide a flexible and low cost job labor job for the American companies. Without Illegal workers, many factories will fall and shut down. These workers do something no American would. They work in low paying positions and bite their tongues, because there is nothing they can do about it. Immigrants also give so much more than they receive, and because of it, are not a burden to the American economy. They pay millions of dollars in social security, that they will never collect or see again. As well as pay state taxes and sales. All this, and all immigrants want is a better job to live a better life. People say immigrants shouldn’t be allowed in America because they are taking advantage of the system, when in reality they’re actually paying for it. They don’t even qualify for healthcare of any sort. However, this is all fine with the American congress. Another tool to analyze is how some policies can be discriminatory against illegal immigrants. One of the reasons illegal immigrants should stay out of this country is because they’re criminals? This is only a percentage of them. It is unfair to say each and every one them is a

Illegal immigrants are talked about everywhere from the news to state-wise mayors and government. However though immigrants mostly come to america for freedom and all different opporutunities and also some countries don't allow all the rules americans have . Or they try to get away from violence in their country like drug trafficing or other incidents. Most of illegal immigrants don't even commit crimes, they come with their families for a promising future. If you were a illegal immigrant would'nt you try to come to america and fit in wouldn't you try and give your family a good future for them and get them away from all the violence in their country. If so then you shouldn't be complaining about them coming to america. Illegal immigrants are bashed upon us as a society but they are why this world is corrupted But for my research on this topic most of illegal immigrants come for different reasons such as for the U.S. have many jobs openings for different people but with the touch economic recession it's been harder for americans to get jobs because of immigrants. Another reason they are bashed upon also is that we also have to pay taxes for them while they hop the border for freedom which many americans complain about also for immigrants however it's not like there hurting us verbally or physically like the picture below me can explain why they should be allowed to come to the U.S.…

First, my mom and I have a belief that immigration has a positive effect on the United States economy. Immigration has a positive effect on the economy, and some reasons are because they are risk takers, entrepreneurs, and industry boosters. Immigrants are risk takers that come to a country in where they do not know the language or culture, but their gamble pays off as economically the need for produce grows. For my mom immigration also has a positive result as many immigrants become entrepreneurs, and create businesses that create jobs. The economy grows as industries know new immigrants need to start from zero, and need to buy industrial products to…

Illegal immigrants has cost America billions of dollars through government expenditures and through taxpayers. Those who are here legally should not have to pay for those that are illegally here in the United States. Taxpayer’s money should be put towards improving America, not giving it to those who have not earned it. Although there are positive impacts on America through these illegal immigrants, they are mostly doing more negative impacts than…

Undocumented immigrants are not an issue in America like many people think, in fact they have helped influence this country in several ways. The article on CATO Institute by Daniel Griswold argues that immigrants provide business contacts to other markets, and enhances the ability to trade. The government and most citizens also address that immigrants have overpopulated their country, created competition, and even stole jobs from the U.S citizens. I strongly believe this is more like a myth because all “illegal” immigrants earned their right to be in a country so corrupt because of all the hard work and effort they have put into it.…

Illegal Immigration has been a rising controversial problem among policy makers. There are 11 million immigrants that currently reside in the United States. They immigrated to this nation to seek a new life, a job, and a brighter future, but obtaining a citizenship won’t be on the same level as immigrating here. One wrong step would lead them to deportation. I believe that illegal immigrants should be given a chance to become U.S. citizens. This is due to several reasons: (1) Families that have been previously separated by deportation can reunite. (2) Illegal Immigrants contribute to the economy. (3) Immigration is a human right. These reasons proves that illegal immigrants should be given a second chance.…

The tax payers pay in to government programs that provide assistance to many families. Illegal Immigrants’ use these programs without ever having to pay in. It is reported by the IRS that six million file individual income tax returns. With government programs 11-22 billion is spent on welfare, 2.2 billion in food assistance, and 2.5 billion in Medicaid. Many understand that some of those are used for the Illegal’s children who do become American citizens. It is also unfair that while the rest of the United States is working hard for their benefits many get to work without having to pay in and get them for free. This makes many think that the Immigrants do not respect our Country enough so they shouldn’t be here.…

One of the biggest issues facing America today is the alarming number of illegal immigrants living in the United States of America. America, “the land of opportunity,” the phrase became the national ethos for the opportunity for prosperity and success for this country. America, settled by immigrants who moved to America, worked in America, built their homes in America and became American citizens. As time moved forward laws were established because immigrants from all over the world wanted the same opportunity; these rules and regulations had to be followed. To be an American was an honorable status, to live like Americans under the provisions of the Constitution of the United States, citizenship had to be earned in order to be granted. The Naturalization Act of 1790 and The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 were established; these acts were the basic laws of United States citizenship and immigration.…
