INTRODUCTION:-
Computer has occupied a important place in our life. All over the world the importance of computer is so much recognized that its education is included in the curriculum of school, college and universities. In 8th five year plan computer education was introduced in about 2598 higher secondary schools in our country. The integration of information and communication technology or ICT in teaching and learning is an innovation that had revolutionized the educational system. SIGNIFICANCE:-

Govt. of INDIA has announced 2010-2020 as decade of innovation.21st century is characterized with the emergence of knowledge based society where ICT plays a pivot role. The N.C.F.2005 has also highlighted the importance of ICT in school education. It is an emerging area for research to improve the quality of education as well as teaching and teacher. So that investigator feels to take the research problem to assess the ICT awareness and Literacy. STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM:-
