Introduction
Human resources management is having policies, practices and procedures that will sway the employees in their behavior, attitudes and performance in the workplace (Noe, Hollenback, Gerhart, & Wright, 2004, p. 2). The roles of human resources management and the trends in globalization will be discussed, along with the technology and diversity. E-business and ethics are also elements of HR management that will be discussed.  
Trends in Globalization
The trends that are currently changing globally are the aging workforce and retirement planning to those in that generation; the Y generation will have their minds on money and helping others. Trends are also changing in workforce diversity; this creates additional work for the HR management of the organization to be bias free, increase development for minority and women. Management must also acknowledge and accept the cultural differences and assist other employees with dealing with diversity (Noe et al., 2004). Globalization has also increased the amount of technology that is use in many organizations the older generation will need training and the younger generation will be less complicating to train. E-business is a new technological way of doing business within many organizations where before more of the business communication was done by phone or fax.   Ethics in business can consist of various things, such as Equal Employment Opportunity giving opportunity to all that possess the skills, Occupational Safety and Administration having conditions which are suitable for the workplace and free of Sexual Harassment or other sexual advances that interferes with work.
Recently in South China, Chief executives of Hong Kong businesses believe that money is going to fix the issues with employees. The human resources don’t believe that money will change the organization; they believe that HR being part of the organization will assist the company.
