 Social – refers to the improvement of the social life
of the people in a community.
 Political – government policies can influence
business relationship with its public. The political
leadership will affect business activities.
 Economics – this area of concern includes the uplift
of the condition of the community where business
operates. It can help customers saddle the impact of
the rising prices of commodities by stopping price
manipulation and goods hoarding.
 Cultural – business can help artistically inclines
persons use their talent through art competitions
and scholarship, e.g. The Palanca Award for
Literature of La Tondeña and the Shell Art
