Part 1: Stages of Critical Thinking

Complete the matrix by identifying the four beginning stages of critical thinking as detailed in Critical Thinking.

Stages of critical thinking
Stage description
The Unreflective Thinker
We are unaware of significant problems in our thinking.
The Challenge Thinker
We become aware of problems in our thinking.
The Beginner Thinker
We try to improve but without regular practices.
The Practicer Thinker
We recognized the necessity of reguar practice.

Part 2: Your Thinking

Write a 75- to 150-word explanation of your current level of critical-thinking development, and explain why you placed yourself at that stage.

My current level of critical-thinking is a Stage 1 which is a Unreflective Thinker. I place myself at this stage because I am very unaware of significant problems when thinking. My entire environment in terms of thinking is basic as I present the issues or situations that pass through my mind. In this stage my knowledge seems to be as a generic form of knowing or analyzing things without major involvement.Some situations are solved using our critical thinking but is not always implemented.
