We agree “HRM helps giving an organization a competitive edge” that HRM is one of main elements in an organization which influence in a business with good performance in order to achieve the objectives.
HRM is a strategic and comprehensive approach to managing people and the workplace culture and environment. In the meanwhile, HRM is an important strategic tool to add value to the strategic utilization of employees such as attracting talent and that employee programs impact the business in measurable ways. To be honest, I believe that every one is looking for a chance to work in a kind of well-known firms, big brands if peoples know that company can provide a career path.
Besides, the new role of HRM involves strategic direction and HRM metrics and measurements to demonstrate value. Effective HRM enables employees to contribute effectively and productively to the overall company direction and the accomplishment of the organization's goals and objectives. On the contrast, poor performance of HRM will affect an organization to be non-stability in business and probably lose the competitive in market. Such as if the turnover rate is high in trading firm which isn’t able to provide confidence towards customers for investment or keeping the business relationship.
In general, competitive advantage exists when firm is able to deliver the same benefits as its competitor but at lower cost or deliver benefits that exceeds those of competitive products. Thus a competitive advantage enables the firm to create superior value for its customers and prove for itself. For example, Mcdonald changes practices to service customers separated into 2 queues for buying and getting products. If staff works in a good condition likes “ the relationship between staff such as family members” and ”well organization to speed up process” which enables a company to operate in a more efficient and higher-quality manner than the companies it competes with, and which results in benefits...
