How was England in George’s III reign
Paper
A brief introduction
Before I start with the proper work, I would like to make a brief description of what will be treated here. Firstly, I will talk about how George William Frederick became King of England. Secondly, I will approach his reign under an impartial view. Then, hopefully, I will give some details about the fact that makes many people have knowledge about the king: his disease. In the eighteenth century his illness was called madness by the majority of people. Nowadays, it is called porphyria. Finally, I will talk about how George’s III son took power, being firstly a regent when his father was still king.
I hope that all information I will put here will be useful not only for a development of knowledge but also for a development of basic knowledge about England in the end of the eighteenth century which sometimes I think I do not have enough.

George II, i.e, George W.F.’s grandfather, did not have a strong relation with Frederick, Prince of Wales, i.e, George W.F.’s father. So, he started to create a close relationship with his grandson. In 1951, the Prince of Wales dies from a lung injury and George William Frederick with the age of 13 becomes heir apparent to the throne. After his father’s death, George W.F. becomes the new Prince of Wales.
George William Frederick, now Prince of Wales, stayed close to home until his grandfather’s death which changed his life completely because now England had a new King: Himself, George III. Since the 25th October of 1760,... [continues]
