How to plan a move from one home to another
In 2009, I moved from a house to an apartment. Things I needed to do were: •
Moving all the boxes and furniture from one place to another •
And thanking everyone who helped before and after moving everything.
Have you ever noticed how hard it is to move? So many things could go wrong. You need a plan, and there are a lot of things you need to do to prepare for. When I moved four years ago, I did not know what to expect. This was my first time moving as a teenager, and I thought it was going to be easy. I moved from a house to an apartment and there were things I needed to do before and after I moved. I needed to start packing, moving all the boxes and furniture from one place to another, and thanking everyone who helped before and after moving everything. For two days, my mom brought home as many boxes and newspapers as she could fit into our Chevrolet Blazer. Then for two weeks, my mom and I spent packing all the glass ware, clothes, books, and food. I thought the packing part was easy. Two days before we actually moved, my mom called her best friend to make sure she was going to help us move. We spent three days moving. On day one: I woke up around 9 A.M. Mom was already up finishing taping up boxes. Mom’s best friend came over around 10 A.M. I started to bring down the boxes that were in my room because it was on the second floor. Mom and her best friend started to take the boxes from the main level and started to load the vehicles. After both vehicles were filled with boxes, the three of us drove 15 minutes from the east to west side of town. When we arrived, I got out first to run up two flights of stairs to open the door. We had a system on bringing the boxes up the stairs; Mom would go all the way up and move the boxes from the stairs to inside the apartment, and her best friend...
