How to Make a Delicious Chicken Soup
Do you miss your family? Do you miss your mom’s cooking? Cooking is a great way to bring back those good times. In my country is customary having soup at lunch, but there is one specific soup my mom would make when I was sick, and this would make me feel better, chicken soup. You will need the following ingredients to make this unforgettable meal: a bag of noodles, 8 chicken legs, 2 carrots, 3 potatoes, garlic, ginger, 2 onions, ¼ cup celery, 1/4 cup fresh parsley leaves, 3 lemons, 1 cup vinegar and salt. Making chicken soup is easy when you follow these instructions.
The first thing you need to do is to clean the chicken properly. First, place the chicken legs in a bowl with vinegar and leave it there for about 20 minutes. Then, remove the vinegar and proceed to clean the chicken legs with lemon. Cut the lemons in 3 pieces because that makes it easier to squeeze. Make sure that you rub the lemons on the chicken legs. After if you are not in a rush. Boil some water in a pot, once your water is boiled, you can now pour the water into the bowl that contains the chicken and drain it. It is very important that prior to eating any meat, you clean it.
Now we need to wash all the rests of the ingredients. After that, boil 2 liters of water. While the water is boiling, dice the onions. Peel the carrots and cut them as well as the celery into 1/4 to 1/2 inch pieces then mince the fresh parsley leaves. When you finish doing that, place the chicken, carrots, garlic, potatoes and the onions into the boil water. There has to be enough water to cover the chicken. Now, add salt. You need to add just a little bit of salt. It is important to cover the pot, and do not open it until the chicken is completely cooked, so all the flavors will stay in the soup.
