How to Lose Weight
Weight-loss is a process or way in decreasing one's weight. Weight-loss is very common among young adults that wish to be thinner and sexier. Being physically fit or for me "sexy" is everybody's dream because it makes you look pretty, nice, and cool. Weight-loss could give you the physique that you want. It could give you awareness to everything that you are doing. Many obese young adults want to lose their weight because they are uncomfortable of being like that. Sometimes they are discriminated or bullied because of it. They say that losing weight could give you confidence. In order to lose weight, young adults should develop a sense of discipline. There are lots of suggestions or ways to help those fat, young adults in the process of losing weight. Some of these suggestions include having a balanced diet, exercising and being disciplined. Balancing your diet or your eating lifestyle is the common way in losing your weight. You become fat because you eat too much, that is why in order for you to lose weight you should eat less. It does not mean that you cannot eat or you should skip meals. It means you should eat three meals a day though the amount of food must be lesser than the amount that you regularly eat. Another way is by having a regular exercise. They say that walking is the best exercise and also the easiest. Your balancing of diet should always be paired with regular exercise because if you are burning fats more than you eat, you will surely lose weight. Doing sports or attaching yourself into it could also help you in reducing your weight. In this activity, you will be using more energy. The more energy you use, the more fats you will burn. Last thing you do to reduce your weight is by disciplining yourself. Without the sense of discipline you could not attain your goals. So, if you want to be fit, be responsible and disciplined on what you eat and what you do. Being physically fit is a simple matter of burning more calories

First I had to determine my daily requirements by using a calorie calculator. I was able use the weight loss calculator to determine the time and calorie deficit required to reach my target weight. For my optimal weight loss I reduced my calories to 15-20% below maintenance. When I did not make progress I increased this later, the larger my deficit produced, the quicker my body caught on. I learn that my first step should be to increase my activity levels. By me creating a larger calorie deficit, I had to exercise, cardio to burn calories, resistance training to maintain muscle mass.…

One of the biggest and most key ways is to exercise for at least 20 minutes a day. The types of exercise needed are running, riding a bicycle, swimming, and other activities that get your heart rate up. In the case of type 2 diabetes when people start to get obese there is too much fat around the muscles and liver so the insulin cannot properly make it too where it needs to go. Exercise will boost the amount of mitochondria in the muscles, make your body burn energy, and eventually if done correctly help you lose fat weight.…

The first thing that I did was to put a calendar in front of the refrigerator. This would help me to remember about my diet plan day by day. Second, begins to stop consuming sugar and any food or drink that contains it. In its place I start to use Splenda, but after a month I replace it with stevia that is made from natural plant. Also stop eating, donuts, cakes and all chocolate bar as well as all kinds of drinks as soda and juices for their high sugar content. Changes my dishes, cup and glasses for smaller ones. I definitely had to reduce the amount of food I would ingest. Next leave all kinds of fried as fried eggs, fry potatoes and Mc Donald and all kinds of junk food as they were the cause of my overweight. I learned that a healthy and balanced diet could lead me to my goal of losing weight. I took up to four liters of water a day and every time I went out on the street, I carried a bottle of water with me, so I would not be tempted to drink soda, just as I would if I went to a…

There are a few different ways to go about losing weight. There is the conventional way which is a balanced diet and rigorous exercise at least once a day for at least one hour a day. There are many different parts of the body that you can focus on but if you want to drop the pounds it might be best for you to do some intense cardio to get the heart racing which will help you burn weight the fastest. “You can safely lose 3 or more pounds a week at home with a healthy diet and lots of exercise, says weight loss counselor Katherine Tallmadge, RD”. I personally also recommend some light weight lifting as well. Some people even take extra protein also but that mainly comes after you have lost some weight. Then there is the option of having weight loss surgery which is very popular today for people who are too obese to exercise. This is probably the best option and would give them a healthier life then they are used to but with weight loss surgery there could be some complications. WebMD states that “Most people experience no serious problems after weight loss surgery though 10% do have minor complications. Less than 5% experience serious (potentially…

It is important to acknowledge that the objectively overweight or obese child may suffer from poor body image and low self-esteem and therefore engage in less than healthy weight loss methods. Teenagers need to emphasize the importance of self-acceptance and respect for healthy living, as well as the appreciation of size diversity and positive body image (Neumark-Sztainer, Dianne, 2005). Although the epidemic of obesity in youth and adolescents highlights the need for increased physical activity in this population, societal demands for the ideal physique mentality may influence physically active adolescents to adopt unhealthy beliefs and behaviors. Being overweight or obese can bring up body image issues as well. Teens that are overweight or obese, like people of other ages in the same situation may have poor body image as a result (McClune, Patricia, 2009). Children that are dealing with being overweight or obese may develop eating…

If you're not active enough, you do not use the energy provided by the food you eat, the extra energy you consume is stored by the body as fat. People who are inactive are more likely to gain weight because they don't burn up the calories that they take in. The Department of Health recommends that adults do at least 150 minutes of aerobic activities, such as cycling, dancing, or fast walking every week. Being active for at least 150 minutes per week could lower your chance of becoming obese. For example, you could exercise for 30 minutes a day for five days a week. If someone is obese and is trying to lose weight, they would need to be more active in order to burn more fat. It may help to start off slowly and gradually increase the amount of exercise each…
