We, as students always try to find out how others pass their exams better than us, that is get really good results. Well, these students do not any major secret. Don't worry, they are neither magicians nor they do practice witchcraft. They have a simple way of getting better results and that is they learn more than the average student.
Now you will tell me that you learn 10 hours a day and you still cannot get better results than the guy who learns 6 hours a day.
The main reason that your friend has better result than you while he learns less is because of some simple factors that you must not have thought about. I will list them below:
You may not have realized this so far, but your friend might actually be concentrating fully when the class teacher is explaining, so he already has a grasp of the topic before he revises it. The guy simply does it at school and as soon as he gets home he revises what he did and he simply master it within some hours. If you are not doing that, then it might be the kink in your learning plan.
Having a schedule is always tough for a student. I could never follow a schedule/timetable that I made with my own hands. They were always boring to follow and I preferred to do something else other than doing what was written on the schedule. Well, with time, I changed and I finally was able to make a simple plan which was perfect for me. Having a plan is not hard to follow. The first thing is to know how many hours you want to give to revision everyday, excluding school hours. As you have that set, it will be simple to make a perfect schedule. If you are the kind of “intellectual brainiac”, 2 hours of revision a day should be ample to cover the topic you did at school and grasp it. For me I needed like 6 hours to grasp a topic and since I never liked to revise I split my schedule in 2 hours/day and could get a grasp of my topic in 3 days. Not bad hun?
The last thing that you can do is practice as much as you can. We all know... [continues]
