In the mist of becoming a successful beautician one must first obtain a target audience and committed cliental. To do so, you must first mimic the actions of a license barber. This will help to promote yourself as a skilled and professional artist, as it pertains to hair design. I have future ambitions to successfully own my on franchise. This will be fulfilled by working underneath a mentor, promoting the advertisement of my business, and by completing the required courses to obtain a professional barber license.
A hair stylist is someone who cuts and styles hair. He or she can also offer other services such as coloring, extensions and straightening. A good hairstylist has a sense of fashion and the ability to know what style will look the best on a client. Hair stylists often do hair for weddings, proms, and other special events in order to routine hairstyling. Also known as a licensed cosmetologist, their education hours vary by state. Hair Stylists are governed by their state cosmetology board.All specialties with in cosmetology except for estheticians and nail technicians must hold a valid cosmetology license before working on the public.
Linous “Spike” White my successful barber, and mentor has all the elements of becoming a “phenomanal cosmetologist,” so he says. I was introduced to Spike back in 2006 by my Mom’s friend guy Eric Lewis. Spike has tremendously influenced ever since a 10 year old little boy I looked up to him. I distinctly remember my first haircut it was an even all around low top fade that I seen my uncle Lee Roy with. I witness how Linous White articulated and crafted my new found hairstyle. From then on i have been committed to his service.
