How to Get There
There are many ways to get to PAL Inflight Center from Far Eastern University. The first route is to take a jeepney going to Lawton or SM/City Hall. From there, you can take a bus going to Southmall or any bus going to Cavite. Then, your next stop should be Baclaran. Take a pedicab going to the terminal of jeepneys going to MIA Road Terminal 2 & 1. Another route is to take the LRT 1 from Doroteo Jose station going to Bacalaran. You can ride a jeepney going to Alabang Metropolis. This jeepney would pass by the terminal going to MIA Road Terminal 2 & 1. Going to PAL Inflight Center from my home is easy to. I take a jeepney going to Baclaran/Tambo. Then I get off to Tambo and from there I can take a jeepney going to MIA Road Terminal 2 & 1. The exact location of PAL Inflight Center is MIA Road corner Baltao St., Pasay City.
During the 1st week, I was waiting for the text message or call of the companies where I submitted my resume for this OJT. Since I didn’t received any message or call from these companies, I decided to call them. The first company that I call was Philippine Airlines, Inc. since this was my first choice company to have my student training. I was told by them that I could attend there orientation scheduled on April 8, 2013. I was excited by then. Then I have received a text message from them about the details of the orientation. I was just so happy by that time and excited for the same time. Then the day after I received the text message, I went to school to file my recommendation letter and to PAL to get my waiver from them.
April 8, the day of my orientation at PAL and I was excited that time. During the orientation, we have a short briefing about the history, vision and mission of PAL. They also explain to us the guidelines and procedures of their student training program and the uniform standard for both male and female. Then we are asked to give them the documents required.
