The data will be the raw information collected on high school students such as SAT scores, extra-curricular activities as well as GPAs. The information that is derived will be using the data collected to determine which high schools the receuiter shoud focus on to find high quality students. The knowledge that will be acquired from the information will be the correlation between GPA/SAT scores/and other activities to the success of a college student.
3) Can the terms data, information, and knowledge have different meanings for different people? Support your answer with examples. Data, information, and, knowledge basically is one big cycle The concept is the same but yes they can have different meanings for different businesses. Such as color preference could be useful data for a fashion company but for a software development company it could mean nothing. 4) Information technology makes it possible to “never be out of touch. ” Discuss the pros and cons of always being available to your employers and clients (regardless of where you are or what you are doing).
As a business owner I will always like to be in touch with my employees but then again
I will always want my employees to have some time for themselves so they can unwind and not have to worry about work. I think a fresh and well rested employee is most effective at their work. Burned out employees will result in high rates of illness and turnover.
