Due to increased number of teenage pregnancy today’s society should take serious steps to prevent it and improve the situation by supplying a better sexual education at home and at school by both their parents and teachers. II. Background

Teenage pregnancy is a large and growing problem over the world especially now when people have more rights and freedom of choice. The main causes of teenage pregnancies are lack of a good sexual education, increased sexual activity in teens, bad influence of peers or even parents, usage of drugs and alcohol, age discrepancy in relationships and sexual abuse. A. Solution 1

Government should create special organizations which will hold sexual education meetings with teens at school. a) Advantages

B. Solution 2
Abstinence from sex is good way to prevent unwanted pregnancy among teenagers. a) Advantages

In order to decrease a possibility of ignorance about pregnancy of their children parents should be more patient and open with them and provide better sexual education in proper time. a) Advantages

III. Conclusion
Nowadays society should think better about the problem because the issue is really serious and important and need to be solved. Actually pregnancy is very bright, positive and good event in the life of each woman. However there still can be a situation when a future mother is not happy because of her condition. Pregnant teenagers are in these desperate straits. The high pregnancy rate in teenagers is in fact a major problem, because teenagers are not responsible enough to raise a baby. Teen pregnancy is a societal problem, a family problem, and a personal problem all rolled into one. While the pregnant teenage girl is the one who stands to suffer the most from the circumstance in the short run, many more problems loom over the horizon. Her family, her child, and often many of her family members will pay a high price for the indiscretion that led to the pregnancy. There are many possible solutions to prevent teenage pregnancy like discouraging early dating, abstinence, and using birth control and condoms. Although there are all these possible solutions the pregnancy rate is still very high. Most teenagers really do not understand how big of a life change they will undergo if pregnancy enters their life. Due to increased number of teenage pregnancy today’s society should take serious steps to prevent it and improve the situation by supplying a better sexual education at home and at school by both their parents and teachers. According to Teal, in the United States, 4 out of 10 girls will have one or more babies before their 20th birthday (Teal, 2007). Actually those statistics are really high. It shows that the problem is serious and urgent. Government and society must do something to help teens avoid unwanted pregnancy. There are a lot of reasons for early aged pregnancy. For example, lack of a good sexual education, increased sexual activity in teens, bad influence of peers or even parents, usage of drugs and alcohol, age discrepancy in relationships and sexual abuse. All the reasons are well founded and occur in our life and like everything it has its own bad consequences.
