Home-schooling Is It the Right Choice?

The students that attend a home-schooling program are not always the children that get into trouble at school. Most of them are the typical average, sometimes above average students. Many parents prefer to keep their children home to educate them in safe, and in a well monitored environment that can not necessarily harm them.   Some do it for their child’s best interest, or to possibly avoid that trauma that seems to appear more frequently in schools today.   So why send a child to that place that can exhibit or introduce them to harmful situations and crowded classrooms?   There are many benefits to public school like the type of classes offered, the social life, the multitude of different types of people, and the many other educational and social opportunities that homeschooling cannot provide.  
Home schooling your child is probably a life changing experience and can improve their lives but any parent can home- school their child. Who is to say that your child will get the right type or amount of needed education? At a public school, every teacher must be qualified to teach and many are specialized in a specific subject. When a student goes to a public school, the student learn core subjects to be a positive person in the community, from people who know what they're talking about that carry a degree in education. At home school, there is typically only one teacher they deal with, no matter how skilled this teacher is, he or she cannot possibly compare to those in a public school. Another reason for a traditional classroom setting is the benefit of learning within a group setting. For many students they tend to learn better in this environment.
