Holidays

I enjoy holidays for the most part. They are a time to be with your family, and often get
things. I also sometimes do not like the holidays because I would rather be doing something else depending on the holiday, or else sometimes my moms side can get a little annoying.
I would have to say either Thanksgiving or Christmas are my favorite holidays. While on the other hand I do not like Easter. I really enjoy Thanksgiving because the food is always amazing, and I get some school off so i can go to my cabin after, but that might not happen this year because we do not get many days off. I also really like Christmas because I can get a few presents, and thats always nice. I also like going over to my dads side of the family and playing the dice game. Also because I like to go to my moms side and eat really good food, and ofcourse during Christmas we get school off so I will spend a majority of the time at my cabin snowmobiling. I said earlier that I do not like Easter, and that is because to me its a day that I might have to go to church early, and we only get one day of school off for Easter, at least at my old school, so I cannot go to my cabin.
I am not sure if you consider birthdays as holidays, but I do. Whenever it is one of my grandparents birthdays I will go over to their house and be with them for awhile because we never know how many more birthdays they will have. Also whenever it is a family members birthday our family will usually just go out to eat, and just celebrate that day. It ain’t anything to special, but its nice.
I know I have mentioned this in other papers, but I would have to say the 4th of July is by far the most fun holiday around. its all because of the annual firework show that happens up at
the cabin. Its fun because it is during summer, school is not on your mind. You also do not have to dress up or do anything special like that. Another important reason is its the birthday of the greatest country the world has ever seen!
