History Paper
Dear Leonidas,
I am currently deployed in a small town in France. I am not allowed to tell you where but it is in France. As I sit in this trench I fear that I might not survive. This trench is so bad I can smell all the people that died in here. The dangers I fear most is dying, or disease. I am preparing myself by digging a hole in the trench to cover myself from rain, wind, etc. to stay away from all decaying bodies. I am mentally preparing myself by praying everyday.
Today is when the fist bomb was dropped. Every thing was crazy and I that is all I remember from it. I believe I got hit by this 2x4 piece of wood. When I looked up to see was all destroyed I saw the main lookout tower had fallen. There it was still on fire and our men were trying to put it out, but as I looked closer it had taken out the main electricity plant. The enemy did this to scare us but as we keep mentally prepared this doesn't come close to what we are going to do to them.
Today there was another attack on us. Much worse than yesterday. It was a gas attack. As I put on my gas mask I start to feel a sharp object entering my forehead. As I try to think of ways to get this sharp object out of my mask I can not think of any, so I have to deal with it. As I try to forget about the pain I start to feel claustrophobic. I feel like I am in tiny box with absolutely no air; I can stand it. So I just focus on my breathing and try and forget about the little box with no air. While concentrating on breathing I see my fellow solider die on the spot. I can see that his mask has been slightly removed so that's why he has died but forget about him time to focus on the gas.
The rats are so bad here no one knows what to do about them. So I complain to the general and he leaves it up to mean to take care of them. So as I think I come up with a plan to get rid of all this rats I figure one out. I am going to but a huge block of poisonous cheese in the commons area so when they eat it they... [continues]
