In order for Vineet Nayar to lock-in and maintain the positive changes he has made at HCL Technologies in recent times, he has to maintain a good relationship with the workers, answering and clearing their doubts to make sure that they understand the need for change and to maintain the change, and also he has to build a commitment bond between the workers and the company to maintain the change.
3. Design a reward and benefits plan for the IT engineers of HCL Technologies that will help to retain and motivate them. What other strategies can Vineet Nayar employ to reduce staff turnover? A reward and benefits plan that involve increasing of pay of the workers when they stay in the company for a longer period of time, for example, if they stay in the company for one year they will receive an increment of pay of $200. Vineet Nayar can also offer annual travel packages to reward the workers, and birthday gifts for workers to make them feel appreciated in the company.
