Essay on Hindu religion
Hindu religion is followed by the people of India. Known as Hindustan in Hindi, India comprises of a several number of people who believe in different gods. All these gods have said to create a large number of good points that a human should exhibit. Thus the Hindu religion comprises of these gods and their devotee’s together wit books like Ramayana and Mahabharata. Hinduism is a vast and profound religion. Hindus worship One Supreme Reality, and believe that all souls ultimately realize that Truth, which may be approached through various names and forms. Some of the more simplistic answers to this question include: Anyone born in India is automatically a Hindu (the ethnicity fallacy), if your parents are Hindu, then you are Hindu (the familial argument), if you are born into a certain caste, then you are Hindu (the genetic inheritance model), if you believe in reincarnation, then you are Hindu (forgetting that many non-Hindu religions share at least some of the beliefs of Hinduism), if you practice any religion originating from India, then you are a Hindu (the national orig.... Hinduism is the world's oldest religion. Its roots date back to 4000 BC. Hinduism is widely spread out in India and around South-East Asia. Hinduism is a polytheistic religion, believing in many gods. Most of the festivals in Hinduism are centered on one or more gods. Hindus celebrate thousands of festivals every year at every part of the world. Each of the Hindu festivals is celebrated in a similar manner. They all include chanting prayers to the gods and making sweets or snack items in honor of the gods. These festivals are usually joyful occasions, but they can also have serious side.
