High School Drop Outs
The prevalence of high school drop outs is increasing alarmingly. This is the government concern because today statistics show that there is high rate of high school drop out all over the United States. Because of this the US government is finding ways to avoid this threatening situation to get worse. High school drop outs are not a very good sign for their country’s future. Increase of drop out would mean an increase in rate of people who are not fit to jobs which require graduation gown cap.
High school graduation and wearing of gown cap is a sign of a country that has the great future. To prevent this problem the government is searching for the different factors that lead high school students to leave their graduation gown cap behind. They have found out several factors that lead high school students to leave their graduation gown cap behind. Here are some factors that affect high school students to end up leaving their graduation gown cap behind. Wrong choice of peers is one of the major factors why high school students choose to leave their graduation gown cap. They were being influenced by wrong persons to do the unlawful act to engage in drug addiction a lot of teenagers today are engaging in taking drugs without knowing the bad effect that it can do to their health and life. It can greatly affect their health can sometimes result to the emotional or even psychiatric problem.
• Teenagers, especially girls engage in premarital sex failed to finish their graduation gown cap because of early pregnancy. Lack of guidance about sex leads to early pregnancy and high school drop outs. Teenage men leave their high school graduation gown cap to find a job to support his family.
• Alcohol problem or alcoholism is an addiction that can lead to high school dropout. Teenagers who suffer from this type of addiction leave their graduation gown cap because of their emotional problem brought about by alcohol. Alcohol is the number one problem of society nowadays even
