▪ VITAL STATISTICS

Refers to the systematic study of vital events such as births, illness, marriages, divorces and deaths distribution are obtained from the NSO which is the office charged with registering vital facts in the country.

Statistics on population and the characteristics such as age and sex which is registered by the local civil registrar of municipality who is usually the municipal treasurer or the municipal health officer.
