Opinion on “Cheating”
Cheating is not really bad at all. It is something all of us had to do when we were young to get through with things. When I was in high school I cheated on tests, quizzes, and assignments occasionally, or rarely because I had forgotten something on a problem, or I was just lazy to work on it. There was this one time, and the only one I remember from high school, in my biology class, that I had to look for the answers from the people who were around me. First, I whispered to the person, usually it would be a friend that I knew, who was sat in front of me to see if they can give me the answer by whispering it back to me, or slouch back a little, so I can see the answers. Then I try to look on the corner of my eye, and try to copy a few of the answers that I did not answer on my test. Although, I feel bad about cheating myself at times, but at the end it feels good when you passed the test from cheating just a little. Some other crowds may think that it is bad to cheat on any work because it might not get you anywhere, or not accomplishing yourself to do something right. For example, the people who did not take the effort to do any of the work will simply go find a person to copy off of, and claim it as if they did it the day before it was due. Another example would be when typing up a research paper, and writing down word-for-word from an author. Then it never gets quoted, and no credibility to the author that had researched on the topic. During high school, I remember one person who did this. I am not sure the reason the person why they did this, it could be that the person not sure how to cite, or think they can get away with stealing other peoples work. In this case, it would be cheating themselves using other people’s work as their own. Now that kind of cheating is which I do not like from these sort of people. The person who did all the work, and earned an actual passing grade feels ashamed to the person who copied the paper... [continues]
