Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act( PPACA) also known as Obama care is a healthcare reform signed in March 23, 2010 whose main goal is to conceptualizes the “ Universal affordable Healthcare Coverage “making significant impacts in the healthcare system. The purpose of this board is to discuss the challenges that effective leaders at different levels in the society should face on regards to the PPACA of 2010.

The purpose of this board is to discuss the challenges that effective leaders at different levels in the society should face on regards to the PPACA of 2010. One of the controversial issues in the PPACA is the creation of State based American health benefits Exchanges and a Small Business Health Options program through which individuals and small businesses can purchase coverage depending on family incomes or number of employees. This sounds like going to a supermarket and buying groceries. But the fact is that choosing a healthcare insurance is a complex process that requires detailed interaction between customers, social security, Homeland security, IRS, Medicare, Medicaid, Treasury, employers and so on.
