Question 2:
Answer: the U.S. has taken a long time to pass a health Reform Bill because the economy was not in debt as it is today and the debate of polarity of whether to pass the bill or not pass the bill. The two most debated questions   have been over a) how can the cost of and expenditure for healthcare be controlled and b) how can the uninsured be provided basic health services due to increased access. The turbulence in the U.S. economy in late summer 2008, and the 2001 recession caused problems in state funding for their direct portions of Medicaid costs. Also, the high unemployment rate that dictated who could afford insurance and who could not; the government had to step in. The U.S. system is looked at as a “disease treatment system” but it carries a high financial price for delivering health care in this fashion. Although the U.S. is a market-based system in an affluent industrialized economy it lacked universal care. And some of the ways to reduce national debt and the cost per capita was to introduce universal coverage so that healthcare could become affordable; because of the greater quantity of people sharing the cost.
Question 4:
Answer: Nurses are the largest group of health services providers, so the shortage of nurses will be detrimental to the way care is delivered.   As a Recruiter I would offer sign on bonuses, competitive salary and a quality benefit package and a forum for their voice to be heard once hired. For future prospects I would advocate for my facility to form partnerships with top nursing universities, support nursing schools, nursing legislative bills, and offer internship opportunities for nursing students. Consequently we would make a mark in community nursing schools/universities and hopefully nurses would show a preference to work at my facility.
