At the start of the industry boom, millions were delighted because aside from fast career advancement and financial rewards, the job, they say, was relatively easy. All you have to do, they say, is answer the phone and that it as easy as ABC. A BPO company usually offers a high starting pay and better compensation, extensive training about the product they’re marketing or selling, handling customers, and speaking with the right accent, than the local companies in the country. They also have the fastest way of promoting a career development, a good strategy that will surely attract young energetic and competitive Filipinos. Majority of the call centers in the Philippines are based on the countries such as United States, Australia and other European countries, in which they follow the US standard zones, therefore, having shifts that starts in the morning, US time.
Call center give lot of comfort to employee because other than having a high salary they enjoy the environment of their work especially the night shift jobs because it give the lot of freedom to them. The reason why many Filipinos set aside their childhood dreams to work in call centers. How sad it is to note. Call centers often lure young professionals because of a relatively high starting salary of 15,000 pesos (a lot higher than average laborers) and not to mention allowances, signing bonuses, good work performance, and other incentives.
