In an article published in Bahrain News Agency web site on: 04/04/2010 Minister of Health said: ‘’The dependence of Canada, which got the Kingdom of Bahrain as the first Arab country to receive this credit, is of paramount importance, as is the recognition that health services in Bahrain has reached a global level, which is a starting point towards higher levels and motivation to achieve greater accomplishments’’.
‘’The minister pointed out that there will be phasing in a system of health insurance in the Kingdom of Bahrain to start health insurance and ends with private insurance and the requirement, giving the option to business owners to choose the appropriate system for them, in order to avoid potential risks, including the high cost of the service, pointing out that the ministry is now waiting for approval on the draft social security and health insurance and its issuance in order to start it effectively’’.

From this article we can see Health sector in Bahrain become more developed and advanced than before, Furthermore, there have been relying on the Canadian Health Services a short time ago and this is as I see the biggest evidence of the progress of this sector in Bahrain.

Although the progress in this sector, there’s still remain the problem of different views among individuals on which one is better diagnosis and treatment, and care??? Is it the private hospitals or government hospitals??? Is health insurance good for the society?
