Many people get eating disorders because they are insecure about their body, get bullied about their weight or the way they look, or being called "fat". It is a proven fact that eating disorders affect girls more than they do boys but many people don’t realize that boys are also affected with this disease. It is also a proven fact that either 1 or 2 out of 100 kids in the U.S. either struggle with anorexia, bulimia, or any other type of eating disorders (“Starving for Attention“, Daniel Harmon).
