It is amazing how one topic from the government could cause such a discourse within the American people. Healthcare reform is a basis of conflict that will mandate the way people in this country receive healthcare. Should the American people have a mandatory healthcare bill?
The biggest reason that healthcare reform is an issue in this country is because it will raise taxes for the American people. Some of whom are already paying for their own healthcare.   This is the problem, why should people that pay for their own health care pay taxes to fund someone else’s health care?
We know that this new system of health care will be for people who cannot afford health care for themselves or families and for small businesses that cannot afford to offer health care plans to their employees. We also know that this will be funded by tax money. The government health care will be optional and will not be given to people who already have their own insurance, their insurance will not change. Health care reform will also change how the American people are treated by the insurance companies.   But there is a whole lot more to the health care reform than that.
Should health care be provided to Americans by our government?   Or should we have to pay for it own our own?   Certain people may need assistance to help pay for the insurance. But at what point do we distinguish between who gets it and who doesn’t? Paying excess taxes is just not worth it. [continues]
