Dear Peter,

I am very glad to receive your letter. How are you and how are things? As you requested, I am writing to tell you about my job.
As you know, I am a doctor at Bach Mai hospital. My hospital is in the center of Hanoi. It is rather far from my house, so I always take a bus to work. Every day I leave home at 7.00 a.m and arrive at the office at 7.45 a.m. My work starts from 8 a.m to 5 p.m. In the morning I examine patients, send them for some medical tests, give medical instructions and write out descriptions. I have one hour for lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon I finish all medical files. Sometimes I have to work the night shift. I love my job very much because I can work with and help many people. Tell me about your job in your next letter.

2. The ways to keep fit and stay healthy (Benefits of doing sports)
- I often get up early in the morning and do some exercise. - I also try to keep fit and have a good health by doing sport. I choose to play badminton / football because it: + makes my body strong, prevent me from getting too fat and keep me healthy.

+ gives me valuable practice in making eyes, brain and muscles work together - In addition, to keep fit and stay healthy I have a moderate eating habit. I often eat a lot of vegetables, fish, etc. and less meat. I drink at least 2 liters of water every day. As the doctor said staying up late is not good for our skin and our health, I always go to bed quite early, often at 10 p.am.

I think that having good health is very important because with good health, you can do everything you like and you can enjoy your life as well. In my opinion, there are many ways to keep fit. First, you should have a reasonable and balanced diet. You should eat more vegetables because vegetables are good for your body. Every day, you should also drink a lot of water to make your skin fresh and smooth. Second, you should spend a little time to do exercise. Doing exercise can improve your health and your mind. I usually jog in the morning because the air is very fresh. Also you can play the sport that you like to keep fit and make your body stronger. Third, you should have a reasonable working timetable and should not smoke and drink alcohol because they can have bad affects on your health. I hope that you are always healthy.

I am very glad when I received your letter yesterday. Recently, I have attended an English club. I made friends with a girl there. We soon became close friends. Now I am going to tell you about her, the person I admire. Huong, my friend, is a great person. Not only is she beautiful but she is also intelligent. With a fit body, snow-white skin and a baby face she has been an attraction to many boys. Moreover, she is very industrious, so she always stays at the top in her class. In addition, she is good at singing, she can sing both Vietnamese and English songs. Besides, she is very friendly, too. People can get her help easily when they need. For example, she can spend hours explaining difficult matters and giving advice to other people. I hope that our friendship will become more and more intimate. I am looking forward to meeting you.
