This business plan is derived from the passion that we have in dogs. They are loving animals and we believe every home should have one. We decided to concentrate on a particular breed as this will allow us to be specialists in this dog segment. German Shepherd dogs are our chosen breed and we feel that this breed while requires a lot of attention, hard work and determination in caring for them, but it also allows us to make it a profitable business venture in the long run.
The timing is right for starting this new venture. Animals especially dogs are playing a larger role in our lives, and working people are choosing to provide them with a good life. Loving families with active pets and an active conscience are in search of better lives for their pets and peace of mind for themselves.
German Shepherd dogs’ are beautiful animals. They are intelligent, loyal and make good company. Hence, we decided that this breed is our focus in our business as German Shepherd dogs’ are often used in terms of security and companionship. This allows us to look at a bigger market like security firms and police dogs.
BUSINESS DESCRIPTION AND OVERVIEW
The Shepherd Kennel is a partnership venture where we provide German Shepherd puppies for sale to household owners. This will be the main focus of this business venture. The half an acre of rented fenced-in land which is situated approximately an hour’s drive away from the city will be our base to breed these puppies. German Shepherd dogs (GSD) is a known breed in Malaysia and its puppies are sought after by owners looking for companion and security. Apart from breeding, the company will also provide basic dog obedience training and boarding facilities will start immediately after our business incubation time. Our land will have a 20 kennel set up equipped with exhaust and
