There are four cyclic steps described as the functions of management. Consider only one of the components described in these functions or processes and describe if and how this component is utilized to enhance the role and function of a health care manager?

The organizing function enhances the role and function of a health care manger by providing knowledge. Once a health care manager is educated on the different departments within an organization they may be able to respond to their staff and patients better. Organizing is the task of using the resources provided for the use of services (Lombardi & Schermerhorn, 2007). Therefore a health care manager wants to use the staff to get the job done while ensuring the staff is fully equipped. If a person knows how it is to work in a certain position then they may get enough experience to manage to actually manage the position. The health care manger may be able to meet all needs of the organization while still being effective at their job. To fulfill the purpose of the organization by ensuring staff is kept up to date on technology and patients receive the best of care enhances the health care manager in many ways. The staff will view the manager as understanding and a good manager. The patients may respond to the organizing by staying with the organization. Supervisors would be saying good job.
