You have received five requests for research assistance. What information sources and research tools would you use to obtain the information necessary to satisfy these requests (databases, publications, professional/trade organizations, internet searches, etc.)?
In addition to listing websites, databases, etc., describe the process of using these information sources. (20 points each).

1.   The Director of Technology Development in your entertainment company asked you to review statements issued during the last two years by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Federal Trade Commission (FTC) regarding the protection of intellectual property (IP). He also would like have a synopsis of any US Supreme Court decisions rendered in the last five years. In addition, he would like the names and contact information for key people knowledgeable of IP within the SEC.

2.   The CEO of a food processing company is evaluating acquisition opportunities, and has requested the names and brief biographies of the members of the Board of Directors of the three most profitable competitors in the snack food segment of the industry.
