The world of today is neither the world that existed years ago and nor will it be the same tomorrow. Globalization has brought about enormous changes in every facet of the business world; the biggest being the introduction of new variability into business relations. Comprehending these variables and complexities of business is where my strength lies. I am undergoing a four year Bachelor of Engineering program in Information Technology from Aarupadai Veedu Institute of Technology. This has given a strong foundation to my analytical skills since it involves a lot of complex and intricate calculations. I was also intrigued by a couple of Management papers that were included in my syllabus during the program. I am a science student with high technical aptitude and deep interest in management. I am a creative person and often think in a contemplative way about issues of practical importance. I am also aware of my responsibilities towards the society. Being able to identify patterns and relationships that are not obvious to others is perhaps my greatest strength. My communication skills are good and I express ideas and concept s distinctly- an ideal platform for the dissemination of knowledge in my chosen field of specialization. Moreover, a Master of Business Administration will help me develop a cross-functional approach towards understanding the nuances of business. It will give me a broader understanding of the functioning of different components in a business organization-Production, marketing, human resource, financial management. It would also enable me to study from close quarters how IT is drawing synergies between each component of business. UK is famous for its excellent teaching staff. Quality of education here is one of the many reasons why I would be privileged to pursue my higher studies in UK.
