Halloween

AUTUMN

    WHOOSH! That is the sound of the autumn wind. Autumn is very special to me for three reasons. One of the reasons is I like the colorful leaves. Another reason is I love to play in the big piles of leaves that my daddy rakes up. The last reason is that it is Halloween. These are the reasons autumn is so special to me.
    The first reason autumn is special to me is that I like all of the colorful leaves.   The colorful leaves remind me of a rainbow.   There are red leaves, orange leaves, yellow leaves and green leaves.   My favorite color is green.   So every autumn, I go outside, climb the tree and pick all of the green leaves until I fill a huge bag.   One time I brought in so many leaves that the bag ripped and the leaves went all over the house.   I got in so much trouble.   My parents said “What are you doing with all those green leaves?”   I answered, “In another month there won’t be any green leaves.”

      The second reason autumn is special to me is because I love to play in the leaves. One time my daddy raked up a huge pile of leaves and I jumped into it. I got in a little bit of trouble but not to much because I was having so much fun. The piles of leaves are as tall as a giraffe. This is the second reason autumn is so special to me.

        The last reason autumn is so special to me is because it is Halloween! I think Halloween is one of the best holidays. On Halloween I get to dress up and go around the street getting candy. Also I love getting to pick out the biggest pumpkin to carve into a jackolantern. This is the last reason autumn is so special to me.

      In the last three paragraphs, I have told you the three reasons autumn is so special to me. Why is autumn special to you? Maybe we share some of the same reasons. I hope so!
