In order to give the detailed view about the cyber crime carried out by the banks the research on “Halifax internet banking” was taken into consideration so as to provide the efficient data to the next coming mankind regarding the frauds in the online banking, the data collection in this research has shown the possibility of different types of crime through internet by the banking sector with the help of charts and graphs.
This research would be very much helpful for the customers so as to carry out the secure banking over internet, it also guides how to check the gen of the bank website, in additional this research also brief about the fake and phishing mails through which the fraudsters acquire the personal data of the customer, finally the main objective of this research is to make the mankind aware of scams and frauds which are taking place in online transactions and make them liberated from the situation of panic while using online transactions over the internet and educating the customers with the appropriate measures of preventing scams and frauds. This research would also mention some of the guidelines that the banks should follow regarding their security.
