What is a pilgrim? A pilgrim is a person who travels to a sacred place for religious reasons. Or someone who travels on long journeys. Now why are we called pilgrims? For me we are called pilgrims because we are the Church of God, we are a family of believers, disciples of the Lord united in one spirit. The person tries to search answers for his questions like on the first part. “tired of weaving dreams too loose for me to wear” so the person is confused of why is it so hard to achieve its dreams. Another is “Tired of getting tied to doing what's required “ Why do we have to follow ones rule? Why are we not equal? The person is also confused of which path to take and wants to know who will be his guide. My question is How how can I decide which path I should take, and who will be my guide?
Why Does one ask this question? Because I know some of us especially teenagers like me are still confused of making their lives straight. They are having a hard time deciding for themselves. Because we all know that teenage life is a very crucial part. This is the part where our future depends. We are seeking for answers. We ask for others advice and assistance to help us in making our way right. My answer to this question is to be more dependent and learn how to trust my abilities and stop depending or relying on others decision. Maybe it’s time to make a change and follow what’s really inside me. Because how can I make decisions in the future if now I’m still following others decision. Well I’m not doing this to disobey them or to disrespect them but rather to prove them that I can do it. I’m not being a rebel , I just wanted to learn and to be more Independent.
How do we follow the voice that calls within? For me that voice has two qualities. First is the inner us. We follow it by start trusting ourselves and our abilities. Second is God that supports us and gives us the strength whenever we feel weak and guide us to

With enough financial aid to establish a colony, the Pilgrims prepared for the move. They purchased their own ship, a small vessel known as the Speedwell and were granted another which the Virginia Company rented called the Mayflower. After two unsuccessful attempts of leaving England, the Pilgrims were forced to leave the Speedwell behind due to a leak. Losing a ship caused some of them to be sent back to Holland as there was no room. They finally set sail for the northern part of the Virginia colony with a total of 102 passengers aboard the Mayflower, September 6, 1620. The entire voyage took around two months and rough storms blew them off course. Instead of landing near present-day New York like they had originally planned, they ended…

In 1879 a 20-year-old man named Sir Henry Mill Pellatt became locally known for beating the amateur world record for running of the mile. This fueled the ambition and aspiration for success that he seemed to have been born with. Little did he know that in just over 20 years he would own the largest private home in North America. By the time he was thirty Sir Henry owned 21 companies. His newfound money and love of art that came from visits to Europe brought the idea of Casa Loma, a Gothic/Medieval style mansion that overlooks Toronto. It took 3 years to build and yet was only lived in for 10 years. However, it is now one of the most visited tourist destinations in Toronto and the perfect setting for weddings and events as well as movie and TV productions. After looking at the it’s history, character and physical features, Casa Loma’s “sense of place” can be easily defined as romantic, beautiful and a little bit tragic.…

During my visit to Plaza Olvera, I discovered much information that before, I never really bothered to pay attention to. La Placita Olvera a colorful Mexican marketplace who attracts millions of visitors. Besides its restaurants and crafts shops, Plaza Olvera also is famous for hosting traditional events like the blessing of the Animals, Cinco de Mayo, Fiestas Patrias, Dia de Los Muertos, and Las Posadas. On my visit to the Placita Olvera I also discovered Avila Adobe, this house was built in 1818 by Francisco Jose Avila. Francisco Avila was a Californio and wealthy cattle rancher. The Avila Adobe interior depicts the California lifestyle of the 1840s. Dark wood tables, four-poster beds, candelabras and elaborate carpets. Moving forward to…
