A Gym is a place which houses exercise equipment for the purpose of physical exercise. Physical fitness is important throughout life to develop and maintain functional capability to meet the demands of living, and promote optimal health. This is a health club. From a fitness perspective, there is no better opportunity than Go vertical with its full body workout, showers and separate locker rooms for men and women. A modern day gym is a facility where you work out, meditate doing some yoga, feel good with some aerobics exercise, and relax your senses with a day spa and then look good by grooming at the saloon. Personal trainers get more and more professional and gyms make sure your follow the diet prescribed by providing the meals at your doorstep! This industry combines luxury and exclusivity to the experience of a fitness centre with a professional approach to help individuals develop to the best of their needs.


The objective and scope of my Project Smart Gym Management System is to record the details various activities of user. It will simplify the task and reduce the paper work. During implementation every user will be given appropriate training to suit their specific needs. Specific support will also be provided at key points within the academic calendar. Training will be provided on a timely basis, and you will be trained as the new is Smart Gym Management System rolled out to your area of responsibility. At the moment we are in the very early stages, so it is difficult to put a specific time on the training, but we will keep people informed as plans are developed. The system is very user friendly and it is anticipated that functions of the system will be easily accessed by administrators, academics, students and applicants. Hence the management system for the College management has been designed to remove all the deficiency from which the present system is suffering and to ensure.


This project consists of different interfaces which will be accessed through a MDI (Multiple Document Interface) window.

* Module 1: Member’s Module
In this module, Owner can see the membership details which includes:

i. Member id
ii. Name
iii. Gender
iv. Address
v. Date of birth
vi. Phone number
i. Membership type
ii. Expiration date
i. Due date
ii. Days left
iii. Amount paid
iv. Balance

* Module 2:Employee’s Module
In this module owner can see the employee details including the fields:

1. ID
2. Name
3. Gender
4. Wage
5. Address
6. Date of birth
7. Phone number

Module 3: Inventory module
It is further divided into three components:

Gives description about a product based on its category and includes: i. Category
ii. Id
iii. Description
iv. Brand
v. Quantity
vi. Date
It facilitates the owner to place an order of the product. i. Category
ii. Description
iii. Brand
iv. Supplier
v. quantity
vi. Sales Price
vii. Order Date


DFD is a model, which gives the information domain and functional domain at the same time. DFD is refined into different levels. The more refined DFD is, more details of the system are incorporated. In the process of creating a DFD, we decompose the system into different functional subsystems. Zero Level DFD

This level shows the overall context of the system and it's operating environment and shows the whole system as just one process.
