GREEN MOTOR COMPANY is going to position their vehicle, first, as a competitor with traditional non-hybrid vehicles not lacking in performance and then as a benefit to the environment. GREEN MOTOR COMPANY is targeting people who would not normally consider purchasing a hybrid vehicle. GREEN MOTOR COMPANY’s PHEVs performance and luxury features will assist with the promotion of and “wow” factor to initiate public interest. By focusing on performance, consumers will be confident that GREEN MOTOR COMPANY’s hybrid will not compromise their vehicle expectations.
In order to promote the benefits of GREEN MOTOR COMPANY’s hybrid to their target audience, GREEN MOTOR COMPANY will be visiting a number of schools with youth oriented presentations and materials. Youth will have a chance to learn about the vehicle, compete for prizes, and participate in vehicle demonstrations. GREEN MOTOR COMPANY will attend several College of Engineering functions, including tailgates and university donor events. Promotion will also include interaction with a wide variety of political officials and law makers and educating them on the benefits of PHEVs as well. The vehicle will also be featured in several energy conservation awareness events. GREEN MOTOR COMPANY will feature articles in an engineering magazines, as well as national newspapers. These publications will include hybrid technology fliers and questionnaires. GREEN MOTOR COMPANY has plans to produce a commercial to promote their vehicle on their website and on television stations.
