The Great Pyramid of Khufu!
The pyramids are great. I really like the projects and the video was great. The great pyramid of Khufu was interesting on how it was built. The pyramid had to of taken those people two years. It is just a great lesson. I learned that the Great Pyramid of Khufu is the biggest pyramid in Egypt. The pyramid of Khufu still has some limestone at the bottom of the pyramid. The workers who built the pyramid were not slaves they were proud to serve there pharaoh. Khufu is also the only one who has a granite chamber tucked away at its heart. Egyptians didn’t know how to make circular tunnels or ramps. So they made right angle turns. Egyptian workers would pull a 60 ton block up to where it needed to be placed. It took six hundred men to pull one block. To drag up the stone there was only a 7% incline or it would be to steep. Egyptologist said that the pyramid of Khufu was built from the inside out. There are top most layers above Pharaoh Khufu’s chamber to keep it from collapsing. Egyptologists also believe that the pyramids out most layers were placed down first to give it the right angles. We will never know how it was built. I was wrong about how the pyramid was built because I thought some type of alien made the Great Pyramid of Khufu. I say that because it is extremely hard to move a 60 ton block. It would also take five hours long anyway. To move that block you need people like Mr. Bennett who bench press 400 pounds, and you would still need a lot of people to that. The workers were not jacked in muscle. They were scrawny and small. For them to move a block 100 times heavier than them would take a day, but I was still wrong. I do not agree on this theory because there were really small people pulling on that block. I believe aliens built the pyramids because there are just no way people may pull a 60 ton block. I understand there were ramps and carts I just don’t see how grown 150 pound men can pull a 60 ton block...
