BUSINESS CONCEPT| * Grand Theft Auto is an automotive recycling business that parts out older Japanese and domestic late model vehicles to restore the parts and sell them * Our business is located in the Braneida industrial park in the Brantford Brant area of Brantford. * Our business consists of three owners Fourat Jajou is incharge of operations, Renatus Fonseca the salvage technician and Imran Alam who is the marketing specialist. * The GTA business will target the baby boom echo generation of the following target markets: * Mississauga and Brampton * Hamilton * Brantford * GTA and surrounding area * The automotive recycling industry accounts for 22 billion of annual sales as well as is environmentally friendly. * Since we are a used parts retailer, we will have a return policy and warranties on our parts. * The GTA shop will consist of two bays , a private office and a storage area for the parts.| MISSION STATEMENT| * Our mission statement, “Where you make the steel” relates to a give and take relationship between our business and our customers. * Basically, the customers make a steel with our money while we make a steal with their used car for profit and sales. | VISION STATEMENT| * Since funding and financial support is at it’s minimum, GTA has to economize with one salvage specialist to locate, transport and extract used parts out of the used vehicles. * GTA hopes to expand into a bigger shop with more bays, a computerised inventory system for parts storage and hire more mechanics when business grows. * Since GTA only sells used parts, as business progresses it will be wise to start selling used cars with restored and refurbished parts as well. * Later on, GTA can give the aftermarket a shot by selling performance and tuning parts like body kits, muffler’s, turbo kits, rims etc. * Auto Body collision as well as paint booths are another option for improvement and promotion of the business. Fundraising and charity events are examples of customer service in the future. | VALUES STATEMENT| * In today’s automotive world, getting from point A to point B is not as important as how you get to point A to point B. * Our prime customers will be the youth who have a lust for cars and their drive for aftermarket parts will benefit us. * Since dealerships charge interest with financing, customers today rather use classifieds like kijiji, autoTrader and craigslist to purchase cars. * Saving money and car enthusiasts are part of GTA’s philosophy to develop the business. | MARKETING PLAN| SWOT ANALYSISOpportunities * When it comes to end of life and written vehicles, it is more economic to recycle them rather than have it crushed or wrecked it at a wrecking yard. * Even end of life vehicles that are hopeless to restore can provide steel to scrap and although the electrical parts cannot be used, the body parts like the bumpers, fenders and...
