Over the course of history nations have been governed in many different ways. Although, there were some accomplishments made during the 14th century and later, the period of the renaissance came up from the 16th century to the 17th century. During the renaissance, political, economical, and technological achievements took place. These changes helped certain nations to develop a society that was at the time economically, politically, technologically, and morally poor.
About the same time, when the renaissance took place different philosophers and people asking questions came about. New theories were introduced; philosophers and smart people presented new ideas. Among them was John Locke. They all have presented their models of government. They all had reasons to introduce their models to people for better form of government, the government that can provide them the opportunity to have the basic needs of life and to assure them security. The people were tired of the unfair rule by the monarchs of the Europe. These monarchs rise up taxes on every citizen of the kingdom in order to get money.
Economically a large number of nations were poor. This situation created the base of the revolutions, such as, the English, Americans, and French Revolutions. These revolutions made a problem to the monarch system, the death of the King Charles I in England was the result of the revolution. These revolutions created a society based on the ideas presented by people like Locke, and which laid the foundation of a democratic system in the countries that were already through the revolution like, England, France and Russia.
One kind of government was a democratic system given by John Locke. In Locke’s form of government every person has an opportunity to have happiness and to get as much as one can.
