Gossip in the Media
Aaron Majors is yet another ladies’ man around Spellman. Can you blame him? He’s the kind of guy who knows he looks good. He’s a total flirt and knows just what to say to get a girl weak at the knees. He leaves them as soon as he gets what he wants, though. Even when girls know his rep, they still fall for him. He can be a total jerk, he never seems to care how he treats the girls he’s with, but deep down there’s good in him. He’s a loyal friend, as his best friends and band mates know.

Aaron traveled out to Spellman with Mick Watson, Kyle McKinney, and Marcus Lawson who was the first to come out here. He’s excited to work on their music here and to have the gang back together. These guys are the only ones he really feels comfortable around, who know the real him. They’re the only ones who know what happened with his ex, how she was a complete bitch who openly flirted with his best friends. Due to this, he doesn’t believe in love or really trust girls, hence why he acts the way he does.

Eli is the person you need to go to when you want to have a good time. Give him a joint, you’re his best friend. Give him a bottle of something strong, he’ll marry you. He’s truly a really good guy and his best friend, Luke, will tell you the same thing. No matter how crazy Luke gets, Eli will always be there to pick him up. He’s very loyal and cares a lot about his friends.

He had a picture perfect childhood. At least on the outside, or so it seemed. Picket fence, parents deeply in love… What no one else could see was the abuse that went on. His father was an asshole who put on an act for everyone, but behind closed doors, he abused Eli’s mother and relentlessly picked on his children. Seeing all that growing up really screwed with Eli. He’s never had such a great self esteem from the constant nagging and put downs he got from his dad.

Treyson is loud and obnxious, but tons of fun to be around. He has a sick or perverted sense of humor that everyone can’t

According to the film, Eli’s father, Darren Creekmore was often unemployed, a heavy drinker and prone to violence. Darren was convicted of assault on two different men six months after Eli’s birth and spent a year and a half before being released on parole. Within a month of returning home Darren began abusing Eli. Eli was now two years old and during a visit to his grandmother’s home only four months after Darren’s return, Eli appeared to have lost ten pounds and could barely walk. Upon further examination by Eli’s grandmother discovered he had multiple bruises and even apparent cigarette burn all over his body. She pleaded with them to take the boy to a doctor or leave him with her so she could do so. Both Mary and Darren refused and instead went back to their own home. The grandmother called child protective services and a case worker and police officer went to the Creekmore home to investigate. The case worker had Eli taken to the emergency room where Dr Peter Milliken treated him. Dr Milliken stated in a police report that the child’s…

Despite being one of the oldest communication media that can be thought of the newspaper is still at the top of the list concerning the most popular sources of news and information. It has prevailed for centuries, withstanding waves of new technologies mostly by meeting the specific needs of its target audience. The tabloid press is not different and taking into account the popularity of this type of newspaper especially in the United Kingdom it can be seen as a prominent example of evolution through diversification which granted the newspaper its position. In this case the notable features are: the simple everyday language, concentration on the most emotive parts of the story and drawing attention of the reader. This three features mentioned above are widely considered the most recognizable and apparent for the genre and are largely responsible for its form.…

The United States of America is one of the only country’s on earth that has the right for freedom of press enshrined in its constitution (U.S. Const. amend. I). If you take a second to stop and think about that, we are one of the only countries who have truly ‘guaranteed media freedom’, that is something very special as well as something that is paramount to maintaining a functioning democratic society. It seems as if we almost take for granted the myriad of different sources and outlets that we can pull from and learn from. In this writing I will present you with two different ideologies that weigh in on the media system in America today, one from a liberal’s point of view and one from a conservatives point of view.…

Since the days of ancient people many preserved rock paintings and elements of art, which depicts a sexual act between a man and a woman, are not uncommon images and homosexual, as well as group acts. The well-known ancient Kama Sutra book is filled with all too far from chaste designs. Examples abound. In the first few chapters Junior explains about his relationship with his friend Rowdy and what it is like hanging out with him, “Rowdy isn’t a fast reader, but he’s persistent. And he’ll just laugh and laugh at the dumb jokes, no matter how many times he’s read the same comic. I like the sound of Rowdy’s laughter” (Alexie 23). On Thanksgiving day, Junior went over to deliver a cartoon for Rowdy because he missed him, “Rowdy’s dad took the cartoon and stared at it for a while. Then he smirked. ‘your kind of gay, aren’t you?’ he asked. ‘Can you just give it to him?’ I asked. ‘Yeah, I’ll give it to him. Even if it’s a little gay’” (Alexie 103). They have both been best friends for a really long time, when Junior finally decides to tell Rowdy he was leaving the rez, Rowdy didn’t take it easy on him, “My heart broke into fourteen pieces, one for each year that Rowdy and I had been best friends. I started crying. That wasn’t surprising at all, but Rowdy started crying too, and he hated that” (Alexie 52).
