It’s a public held company based out of Mountain View, California and named from the mathematical term as “googol,” which refers as 1 followed by one hundred zeros. Though this company services hundreds of domains through out the world, it’s been said that the most popular and profitable is google.com. What attract users are its accuracy, speed, easy to use features, and wide variety. Through its partnership and strategic alliances with AOL and Netscape, it has a large ability to respond to more queries along with serving corporate clients advertising and publishing needs. With more than 300 million users per month, Google is titled as one of the top five most popular sites on the internet. It’s the #1 search engine in sixteen different countries ranging the U.S. to Mexico. Google’s mission stands at the organizing for the world to gather information and making it universally useful and accessible.
Google very is successful because it can fulfill the need humans have for different types of information. Today our world is filled with ever emerging technology, advancements, news, policies, and/or events that molds our way of life. It’s very important for to keep up with these changes. Since the emerge of the internet, humans have become more dependent daily on its capabilities to obtain more information faster than the traditional means such of television and radio broadcasts. So Page and Brin came up with the idea to bottle all this information into one site, making information easy to access, instead of searching the mass information outlets of the internet.
