Having Good Manners Can Show That a Person Has Respect.
Manners are something that we use constantly everyday. Whether, it’s to make a good impression on others, feel good about ourselves, or just to show respect. Manners should be an everyday practice for everyone. Having good manners is important to everyone especially in today’s society. It should not matter whether a person is at home, work, or just hanging out with friends; manners are always important in all that a person does. Your manners are important all of the time. It is possible to manners in the way a person walks, talks, or just by their persona. When opening doors, this is a good way of showing you’re trying to be helpful, and being helpful is a big sign of having manners. “Please” and “Thank You” are ways you can show your manners in talking. Being respectful towards others and yourself shows others that you have good manners. Speaking to people as they walk past you in a hall shows good manners. There are many ways to show good manners. Everyone needs to have some type of manners at all times. Showing good manners all the time just allows people to know, that a person has a very strong upbringing. Speaking loud or rudely to people can make them quickly lose respect for you. Speaking loud also puts people in a defense mode. Don’t swear or use profanity when talking, it allows people to label a person as “someone with no manners”. By showing manners and speaking politely, people may assume that a person is very professional. Using a decent vocabulary gives off the impression of intelligence, self respect and character. It is best to always allow your manners to dominant in all that you do, for you never can tell who may be watching, listening or just waiting to see your reaction to something.
