Hopeful Senior Year
Whether you think about it or not throughout our life most people have goals that they would like to meet and strive for. During my senior year I have come up with three small goals that I will hope to achieve. These goals are the I will pass and graduate this year, the high school baseball team will make the districts, and finally that I will get accepted and enrolled into one of my choice colleges. Now that I have just given a brief statement about each goal, I will go into more detail with each one of the goals. My first and most important goal is to make sure I pass and graduate this year. This year I hope to achieve A’s and B’s on my report card. I think this goal is definitely obtainable. I just need to stay focused and continue doing my work. I will have some hard classes but as long as I stay dedicated I will be fine. Although, some could argue this should be the only goal, there are also a few other goals I would like to achieve. Last year Tulpehocken’s baseball team made it to the quarterfinals in districts. It was a neat thing to achieve, but it wasn’t good enough for me. This year I want to win the whole thing and I do not want to stop until I achieve that. To achieve this goal everyone else on the team will also have to commit to making this happen. It will take a lot of hard work and dedication, but if everyone commits to it, it will happen. Making it to districts takes a team effort, but my next goal of getting into the college of my choice is going to be an individual effort. College could be one of the biggest decisions I will make at this time in my life. You have to pick the college you want and what someone else thinks is right for you. In order to achieve this I will have to work hard to get good grades, do well on my SAT’s, and write a good essay when I apply. I have been visiting colleges and will continue to visit more. Once I have it narrowed down to my top three, I will apply and hopefully get accepted. Although this could be one of my biggest decisions, the rest of the goals are important as well. In conclusion, in order to make this year fun and successful I will have to work hard to pass, commit to make districts and weigh all options to select the right college for me. Nothing is impossible without commitment, dedication, hard work and sometimes a little luck. Remember to always set goals, otherwise we are just aimlessly wondering around in this big world.

Graduating with an 3.5 GPA at the age of 23 is my long-term academic goal. Even though a 3.5 GPA sounds like im not striving high enough, this goal is very important to me meanly beacause during high school i always set myself with a 2.0 GPA which is an letter C grade average. By me setting it to an 3.5 is a high limitation for me. Passing development 1 math final exam with an letter grade B is my intermediate academic goal. Although its my intermediate goal its an very important one, because in order for me to move on to math development 2 i have to pass the final with an letter grade B or A. Passing all of my classes in fall-term is my short term academic goal. By the end of fall term i expect my GPA to be an 3.0 nothing lower. I plan on working hard and studying everyday for atleast 30 minuntes to achive this goal.…

After graduating from Western Oregon University I will apply to a dental school to earn a dental degree. During my college career I will work hard to maintain a high grade point average just like I have in high school. My goal for high school was to get a 4.0 all through high school so that I could be the valedictorian. I was able to achieve this by doing my homework every night and studying tirelessly. You may wonder, “What does college mean to me?” Well, when I thought of it; these are what I had came up with. First, college means that you could live at home with your parents or live with your friends or by meeting new people as roommates in a dorm together. Second, college might mean becoming broke, by spending all of your money on your college life, your books and classes, food, your dorm (if your staying in one), and whatever else a college student would need. Third, college always means, you have more freedom to live your life, go to parties, and have a blast enjoying yourself as a college student.…

Everyone remembers being a sixth grader with those lockers that wouldn’t open and the school that was like a maze. Now this is our school and we are the big dogs. That is what growth is. I set goals is sixth grade and I succeeded and I did the same thing in seventh, now I am still setting goals because without goals you will stray of course. The goals I set for myself involve making the honor role getting into the Medical Science program at the Freehold Boro High School. This will be tough because many other people will be going for this program not only in this school so I will have to work very hard to reach my goal. I will achieve this goal by working hard getting good grades and doing the best I can on those tests. I will work hard in all my classes to get great recommendations and that will definitely help me succeed. Outside of school I play football, basketball, and lacrosse.I set high goals in each of these sports. In football only the top 3 teams in each division get into the playoffs, I want the team I play for to make it into the playoffs. In lacrosse I play defence so my goal for most games is to not let my man get by me and score goal. I am not very good at basketball but that doesn't make my goals easier to schive, I like to get at least 6 points a game. These are some hard goals to achieve but I believe that with the work I put in I can achieve these…
